Our History

John was determined to continue his father’s legacy; he had a vision to keep the company growing.  Over the years automobiles and technology have transformed, and John brought his fresh ideas to keep the business growing with the changing times and technologies.  Ye Old Station Auto Body continues to provide the most up to date technologies and educated technicians.  The business continues their pride in carrying the good family name in helping customers in their repair needs.

Through hard work and a long list of satisfied customers, Ye Old Station Auto Body continued to grow and prosper.  A dream that started as a two bay garage has grown to a 10,000 square foot facility becoming a premier auto body shop in Connecticut.

In The Beginning...

Starting out as Cheshire's original train station, Frank Mazzella transitioned the depot to a two bay service body shop.  Frank learned his trade through old school techniques, where metal was straightened by hand and lead was used as body filler.  By the late 1960’s, Frank brought his son, John, into the family business sweeping the shop floor.  Over the years, John learned through the school of hard knocks the importance of customer satisfaction and the pride that comes from providing quality work.

Ye Old Station Auto Body built a strong foundation within the Cheshire Community.

We have a proud history of excellent work and customers service. We have remained loyal in serving our community and in return have been recognized through the years by our township and state, and from local business organizations. Through our success, we have also been able to give back to our community through donating and volunteering with many local charities.
